OFFICE OF THE FIRE MARSHAL

Code Enforcement

The Middleton Rural Fire District and Star Fire Protection District offer technical support, information, and inspections to ensure compliance with the fire codes adopted within our jurisdiction. This area includes Ada County, the City of Eagle, the City of Star, Canyon County, the City of Middleton, and Gem County. We address fire code issues at various stages of planning and development, providing code enforcement, construction plan reviews, fire code consultations, formal plan assessments, and on-site building evaluations. All projects within the Authority's boundaries, including new construction, tenant improvements, hazardous operations, and the installation or modification of fire protection systems—must undergo a formal review to ensure fire code compliance.

For weed nuisance complaints, please contact the relevant city or county having jurisdiction. Contact information provided below.
