Review and Permit Requirements
For Commercial and Multi-family buildings being developed or constructed within the Middleton/Star Fire Districts, it is essential to have your plans reviewed and permits issued by the Fire Code Official.
Plan Submission Guidelines
To ensure a smooth and efficient review process, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Plan Format:
- Plans should be drawn to scale (minimum: 1/4" = 1'-0").
- Plans must be stamped by an architect and/or engineer licensed in the State of Idaho.
- Required Documents:
- A completed application form.
- Associated construction drawings.
Fee Payments
- Applicable fees will be calculated and sent via our permit portal during the review process.

Construction drawings will not be reviewed unless they are accompanied by:
- A completed application form.
- All required documents.
